Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the VeroFin platform operated by Powerful Insight Ventures LLC d/b/a VeroFin. This policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

The Platform is intended for use only by business customers located in the United States in connection with U.S. legal and regulatory obligations. You may not use the Platform to process matters that are governed primarily by non-U.S. law or to satisfy non-U.S. regulatory regimes, and you are solely responsible for determining whether and how your use of the Platform fits within your U.S. compliance obligations.

1. Permitted Use

The Platform is intended exclusively for:

• Processing real estate transaction documents for FinCEN Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting
• Extracting, validating, and reviewing data required for FinCEN RRE Rule compliance
• Generating XML files for submission to the FinCEN BSA E-Filing system
• Managing compliance workflows within your authorized firm or organization

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

2.1 Unauthorized Access

• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data belonging to other tenants or users
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, including authentication mechanisms, row-level security, or access controls
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Platform without prior written consent
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform or any connected system

2.2 Misuse of Data

• Upload documents containing personal information you are not authorized to process
• Use extracted data for purposes unrelated to FinCEN compliance reporting
• Share, sell, or distribute personal information obtained through the Platform
• Retain or use data from the Platform after account termination without proper authorization

2.3 Harmful Content

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or other malicious code
• Submit intentionally falsified documents or data to generate fraudulent filings
• Upload content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, or violates third-party rights

2.4 System Abuse

• Exceed your plan's filing limits through automated or bulk submission methods
• Interfere with the Platform's infrastructure, overload servers, or degrade performance for other users
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform or its AI agents
• Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Platform to third parties without written authorization

2.5 Regulatory Violations

• Use the Platform to facilitate money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
• Submit filings that you know to be materially inaccurate to FinCEN
• Use the Platform in any manner that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws

3. Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account, whether authorized or not
• Immediately notifying us at support@verofin.co of any suspected unauthorized access or security breach
• Ensuring that all users within your organization comply with this AUP

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor Platform usage for compliance with this AUP. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

• Investigate suspected violations of this policy
• Suspend or restrict access to your account pending investigation
• Permanently terminate accounts found in violation of this policy
• Report illegal activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities
• Remove content that violates this policy

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP or any security concern, please report it immediately to support@verofin.co. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulations. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
